Kerri Velez

HR, Administration, and Filing

Kerri plays a key role in ensuring Safe Harbor Homecare runs smoothly and efficiently. She manages new hire documentation, maintains complete and compliant staff files, and provides support through phone reception, client intake, and walk-in assistance.

With experience as a Certified Home Health Aide and in nursing home administration, Kerri brings both empathy and structure to her work.

Her background as a restaurant manager for 15 years also strengthened her leadership and communication skills. As Office Administrator, Darlene is the organizational backbone of Safe Harbor Homecare. She oversees client intake, manages phone communications, handles filing and scanning, and coordinates nursing schedules with care and precision. Recruiting and Administrative Support

Lauren supports Safe Harbor’s administrative operations by assisting with recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and day-to-day processing needs. She works closely with the Administrator and office team to ensure that clients receive reliable care and that Home Health Aides are fully supported from the moment they apply.

Her background helps her quickly identify strong candidates, strengthen office workflows, and maintain the high standards families expect.

What drives her is simple: the belief that even small actions can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life. As she puts it, “Nothing brings me more joy than making a positive difference and impact each and every day.” She carries that mindset into every interaction, staying grounded, optimistic, and committed to helping others. In her personal life, Lauren tries to live by the philosophy: “We only get one life, so live it up!”
